Welcome to the 2007 Great Buckeye Challenge. HFP Racing and the Warren County Convention and Visitors Bureau have partnered to bring Ohio a premier half distance triathlon and long distance duathlon on Sunday, August 19, 2007. Waynesville, Ohio is located just North of the Ohio River, between the Cincinnati and Columbus metropolitan areas, a state park venue makes Warren County the perfect multi-sport destination.

The Great Buckeye Challenge features the following races:

Half distance
Triathlon - 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run
Duathlon - 3.1 mile run, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run
Aquabike - 1.2 mile swim and 56 mile bike only

Mini distance
Triathlon - 0.6 mile swim, 28 mile bike, 6.2 mi run
Duathlon - 3.1 mile run, 28 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
Aquabike - 0.6 mile swim and 28 mile bike only

Sprint distance
Triathlon - 0.6 mile swim, 12.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
Duathlon - 3.1 mile run, 12.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
Aquabike - 0.6 mile swim and 12.4 mile bike only

The swim takes place in the beautiful Caesar Creek Lake, followed by a bike in the scenic rolling hills of Warren County, and finishing with the run through the rolling countryside.

IMPORTANT SPECIAL EVENT CHANGE (updated 8/9/07)
Packet pick up and Registration on Saturday will be held at Great Wolf Lodge in Mason, Ohio from 12:00pm-8:00pm.

Great Wolf Lodge is located just off I-71 at exit 25. The first 50 participants who register or pick up their packets at this location will receive a special gift from Great Wolf Lodge!

Packet pick up and Registration will be located just inside their new Conference Center in the Caribou Pass Boardroom. Participants enter through Door #5 or the door directly to the left of door #5. Directions to Great Wolf Lodge are here.

Be a hero with your family... Plan to bring the entire family on race weekend (Friday and/or Saturday) and have a fun filled adventure at Great Wolf Lodge.
